Default Processing time for RSMS

Just wondering if anyone knows the time scale for getting these processed. My husbands employer said it would take between 3-12 weeks (for their bit), then we would be about another 4-8 weeks (after our bit was put in) until the visa was actually granted.

From what I have read elsewhere, and I may have been misreading, people have been saying that you are looking at 3-5 months for OUR bit, not the 4-8 weeks we have been quoted. So does anyone know, or know where I can find out?

K x

There is no simple figure, unfortunately and someone else's timeline isn't going to be the same as yours.

There are actually 3 parts to RSMS, regional certifying body approval, DIAC employer approval and visa application.

The employer has already been approved as a sponsor. We have just been told that they have 'nominated' us for the RSMS, and we are waiting to get the TRN, so we can put in our bit. We have done all the medicals, have all the paperwork, just need to sit tight and wait for the email that gives us the go ahead!
