Whast the average processing time on completed spouse visa applications? I
see visas granted within a month or 2 and DIMIA tells us 24+ weeks...

Depends if you're talking offshore or onshore. If you're talking AHC the max time is 4 months, but you'd probably be looking at between 1-3weeks for a well put together frontloaded application with no PCC or medical problems.

Hi, we are in the same boat. My husband applied for spouse visa in early May and we are still waiting to hear from the AHC in London.
We did have one delay with my husbands ex-wife agreeing to his daughter having a medical (even though she's not emigrating with us), but that's been sorted out now and we're still waiting.
When did you submit your spouse visa application?

Actually processing times vary widely between overseas posts - we have the current processing times on our website which can be found at "planning to migrate" at http://www.austimmigration.com.au/pages/skilled.htm .

We havent submitted yet. Most likely date is very early 2005. The stories
I've seen of people receiving visa's within a month has put our hopes up for
it being sooner than expected but as one of the responsed was that it varies
depending on which country you submit it we're not so sure now. It will be
submitted to the AHC in Kuala Lumpur.

That'll be me being inward looking and assuming everyone knows by AHC I meant the one in London (as oppossed to lodging onshore)
