What is the difference between the grant letter and the pre-grant visa letter ?
I noticed that some folks out there got a pre-grant visa letter . Is it different from the normal one sent by the CO upon the approval of ur visa ??!!

There is a guys out there who got a pre-grant one (April 08 / HR )

Pre-grant is issued when the processing is completed and before the decision is made, but there are outstanding items, requiring action from your end. A typical example would be a need to pay a VAC2, where you have not submitted OH's proof of English, or another one, is where you (legally) reside in Australia, and for the off-shore visa to be decided upon, you have to leave the country.

New Jersey does not work for DIAC so is not able to tell you how long your visa will take.

Moderators do not have autorization to be rude in their blogs . Above quoted sentence could have been with subtle and nice words ..

Dorothy is not being rude, nor is she writing a blog. She is contributing to the thread, and she is quite correct in what she says, neither New Jersey nor anyone else on this forum can tell you how long your visa will take.

Moderators do have authorisation to keep the forum under control and to stop it becoming wholly possessed yet again of threads about timelines
