Jun 29, 2005 Email from CO "Expect to grant visas within next 4
weeks. 5 mths 18 days
Apr 18, 2005 Police and Medicals Requested 3 mths 7 days
Apr 18, 2005 Case Officer assigned 3 mths 7 days
Apr 11, 2005 Still awaiting a Case Officer to be assigned 3 mths
Jan 25, 2005 Acknowledgement letter and File-Number (post) 14 days
Jan 25, 2005 Credit Card charged 14 days
Jan 20, 2005 Acknowledge Receiving on Jan17, 2005 (email) 9 days
Jan 17, 2005 UPS Delivered to ASPC 6 days

I had a similar email - 'expect finalisation within a couple of weeks'....

5 days later - I got my Pre-Grant - Yesterday.
(Has to be pre-grant as I'm in Aussie already - see timeline below)

23/06/04 Positive TRA assessment recieved
18/01/05 47SK (subclass 136, MODL) & PCCs sent via DHL
24/01/05 Acknowledgement of reciept (via email)
24/01/05 Credit card debited
19/04/05 Meds requested
11/05/05 Meds sent

Same here, if that helps, and no one wants to buy my house either and had my car serviced last week, cost £600 and came back worse then when it went and now need to spend another £800 on it. Only kept the thing because thought we would be gone by now or would have changed it.

I feel fatigued with the whole process....

Sorry went off the point of the post, well done for getting your visa pre grant, nearly there.

Thanks for the support guys/gals! I must point out that the email I
received from my CO did not come automatically. I asked her if she
could indicate to me how much longer the process will take because I
still have to hand in my notice at work and to my landlord.
We have decided to sell EVERYTHING except the photo albums. Easier said
than done! It seems that none are interested in my junk.
The path that we've [all in this group] chosen is not an easy one but
by my estimates we will be reaping the benefits within 3/4 years after
touchdown.

and 25 days since I posted the application.
