PR Visa Query
Hi
I've not visited this site for a good while now. We got our PRs in Mar 06 and emigrated to Brisbane in May 06 with a toddler and a baby. Unfortunately due to DW's health, by Oct 06 we were forced to return to the UK for the support network we needed.
Health issues are now improving and we are thinking of going back for a holiday next year with a view to emigrating again. Our visas were obviously validated, but it also says must not arrive after Mar 2011. Does this mean if we did decide to return in 2010 that by the Mar we would not be able to visit the UK
?
DW & kids are very settled back in the UK again now, but we still want to make sure that we'll look back with no regrets by having another serious look at it. Brisbane wasn't for us for various reasons, so we're considering visiting to Perth and possibly Melbourne, before visiting friends who've since emigrated to Sydney.

?Normally they would want you to have 2 years residence. However if you don't have that but are clearly living in Australia you would have a good chance of showing "substantial ties" to Australia and hence getting an RRV on concessional grounds.

Bear in mind that if you arrive back to live in 2010, the wait for citizenship will be four years.
