Hi guys!
I have an online application for a 176 subclass visa lodged on 14 July 2010.
For the past two years I have worked in my own structural design company as a structural design engineer. This is the basis of my recent work experience for the application.
The problem is this:
The administrative address of the company is in city "A" but all the activity of the company (which I am involved in) takes place in city "B", in the same address as my current residential address (I work in my home designing the resistance structures of all sort of buildings). In all the documents I provided to DIAC the address of my company is stated as the administrative address located in city "A".
Should the representatives of DIAC want to personally investigate the address of the company (likely they will, my home country being a high risk country) they would not find any evidence of the company's activity as nobody lives/works in the address in city "A".
Unfortunately I have just considered this aspect because just recently I found out that DIAC could check personally the companies that appear in the application.
The solution I came up with is to send a 1022 form (Changes of circumstances) and state that the company has and is conducting it's activity in city "B", in my current residential address.
In truth however, there is no change in circumstance as I always (since the company was founded 2 years ago) conducted the activity of the company in city "B".
Please advise me on how to proceed, as I'm not sure in what light DIAC would see the situation.

It looks like nobody has been in this type of situation before...
On 28 July, just after 2 weeks after the lodgement of my online application I received an email from my newly appointed case officer
to submit the medicals and police checks.
Don't you guys think it's a little too soon??

I'm not complaining at all! In fact I'm extremely happy and pleased!
I'm just stunned that it took so little time, I wasn't expecting so much promptitude from DIAC.
I read in many forums such as this that it usually takes several months to get a CO, let alone been asked for medicals and police checks..
Cheers!
