Default pool mark-when apply

Respected sir,

can anybody tell me when pool mark conditions apply?
in my case,as i have been rejected due to english language
requirements was not functional.i lodge my application in feb,2002.i
received a refusal letter on 13th june,2003.i have been rejected due
to 4.5 band in reading section.

recently i appeared for IELTS again and secured 6.0 band each in
listeneing,writing& speaking and 5.5 in reading.so i fulfill basic
requirements.

my question is that if i send the latest IELTS marksheet,do they
cosider my application and assessed?

do in my case pool mark conditions apply as eventhough i have been
rejected but secured more than 70 points without cosidering the
english language points?

As per the pool mark rule, any applications which have not achieved
the pass Mark points but achieved the minimum pull mark points may
still be in the datat base of DIMIA for 2 years.doest it mean that in
my case they still hold my application for 2 years in data base?

pls advice me properly.
ax.

Ashwin, It is unlikely that meeting the pool mark will help you in securing the visa. Ensure that you meet the pass mark which is at 115 now before you apply. If you are falling short, maybe you can get bonus points by bringing in funds to Oz or getting yourself competent in any NAATI language that Oz recognizes or having someone sponspor you.

All the best! Maybe you should use an agent who will advise you properly.

Cheers

Your application has been decided upon and the decision has been to decline your application. It will not be reopened as the reason for your rejection is quite clear: you did not show proof that you met the minumum standard in English required for skilled migration to Australia.

No. Your case is closed.

That's only if you met the basic requirements when your application was assessed. In your case, you did not meet the basic requirements when your application was assessed, and therefore your application was denied. That's the end of your previous application and the fee that was associated with it.

No.

Please do consider approaching a registered migration agent who can explain this to you if you need further clarification.

All the best.

To add to what Peter has said, the current application is definitely
closed. The option of reapplication is open, however all the
requirements must be met from scratch. Including:

- Since February 2002 the independent pass mark has gone from 110 to
115

- if the original poster has been ACS skilled assessed, he'll need to
redo skill assessment under the new ACS rules, which are a lot harder
than the old ones.

- all other requirements, such as skilled work experience, age etc
will now be reassessed on the date of the new application.
