Hi All
Just a quick one.. I read somewhere that even if a police report is expired so long as I hadnt returned to the country from where I got it from, since it was issued. I could use it for my application...
Does anyway one know if this is right???
I am trying to get a new one in the mean time but as its from Zimbabwe it can take anything between 6- 12 months.. Thats of course if they give it to you..
Thanks in advance for input

It is a grey area.
It's probably worth getting a new police check now, even if it turns
out not to be required.
If they do demand a new police check, and you cannot obtain it, that's
when you need to hire an agent straight away.

Talking to my migration lawyer, he said it's quite subjective...often
they don't ask you for another one if you have not gone back.
I am a bit worried about it, think I will start on working on getting
another one seeing that I could be asked for them in about 3 months..
I understand your pain..being from Kenya things like this tend to take
a long time. But for me I guess I have no hesitation with the 'scratch
me back and i scratch yours' that prevails in our african countries..
good luck!
