What is the official procedure for getting these? I know a lot of people front load them, but if you don't, is it when you get a CO that they are requested? Do you get an email from your CO requesting them?

One can front load these ( these are valid for 1 year) , if by chance 1 year expires and you have no CO then you have to get new one and upload. on the other hand your first entry date would be with respect to your med or police which ever is earliest.

If you do not front load then no worries , CO will ask you to provide these .....

When the CO asks for them will it be via email, or through an update on the website?

Email, if that's the way you have chosen to be notified. Otherwise it's via regular post.

You get 70 days to send them back after you get the request from CO. You will know you have a CO when your status at DIAC online changes to "Application being processed further".

It took 5month for my CO.

The change in status does not mean that you have a case officer. It simply means that your file has moved forward in the queue.

My husband lodged online Application for GSM Visa VE 176 (8-9.April 2008) !

Our online Status at DIAC is :

Application General Skilled Migration TRN........
08/04/2008 Application recieved-processing commenced

*
*
01/09/2008 Application being processing further

The question is :

Is that possible that we have a CO but we didn´t know about it ???!!!

Cause our Migration Agent told us that we didn´t get a CO yet !
I must say all this really confuse us !!!
