Police cert identity documents

From: Newport, South Wales to Brisbane.

When requesting the pcc's will they require the original copys of identity documents (drivers licence, birth cert etc) or will photocopys of the originals be good enough.

Some forces will accept certified copies. If your local force is "difficult" then you can always apply to the Metropolitan police.

We took our original documents into the local police station and they photocopied, stamped and signed them for us (free of charge!) and then we just sent off the forms with the photocopies.
Wouldnt want to risk losing docs in post, we've had confirmation that they're doing the check so it must have been ok

Hi!
I just sent mine off today and the form said that it only needed to be photocopies of my identity documents. Also said it would be back in 20 days.
Im in Scotland though so depending where you are it may be different, ours isnt called a Police Clearance Check, ours is called a "Subject Access Report"
