Hi Guys,
I need help regarding points for specific employment. According to DIAC booklet 6:
"If your nominated occupation is worth 60 points and you have worked in your nominated occupation or a closely related occupation at a skilled level for at least 3 of the 4 years immediately before you apply." - 10 points
I am planning to apply for an ACS assessment included in the SOL list. I have a total of 4 years IT experience - 2 years experience on the the occupation that I will nominate and 2 years experience on another occupation but not on the SOL list but still IT-related.
My question is, will I get 10 points for specific employment given my situation? Can they consider it a closely related occupation?
Note:
2 years experience as a Business Analyst
2 years experience as a Software Tester
