Hello!

I hope that my questions are simple:

1. Age is counted by calendar year (adds 1 on January 1st) or exactly by birthday? If I
will be 30 in summer, does applying after 01/01 but before the birthday give me more
points considering me as 29?

2. Do I have to provide education/skills assessment at the time of application or it must
be done later, by the embassy request?

Age is how old you are at the time you send in your application. So right now that would
still be 29 for you.

You will have to include the skill assessment (and IELTS test if applicable) with your
application. You can look at form 47SK Part J (Checklist) for a list of the documents you
will need.
