Default Points for IT

I have been working in the IT industry since 1994 as a Support Analyst and for the last 6 years it have been with the Dealer support for 2 major banks. As well as becoming a Assisyant Manager loing after front office desktop support.
What are the chances of getting anything from this - I have no Degree.......

Not very high, actually. With only 6 years of IT experience without a formal qualification, you'll probably just be able to scrape through your skills assessment with the ACS, which will absorb all your 6 years of IT work experience leaving you without any post-deeming date work experience. This effectively means that while you may get a positive ACS skills assessment, you will not get through the basic requirements of DIMIA.

Go to http://www.acs.org.au/ to read up on the skills assessment procedure under 'Assessment for Migration' or something like that.

Then this link to read up on deeming date issues: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...t=deeming+date
