Looks good to me you only need 120 points to go skilled independent so get them forms filled out soon or it might change

Hi David,

Self-assessment can be a dangerous pasttime if you're prone to self-delusion but you can check it at http://www.immi.gov.au/migration/ski...oints_test.htm . The most commonly overlooked thing is recent work experience which is not co-extensive with the 10 points for "specific work experience". Recent work experience is described in "basic requirements" under http://www.immi.gov.au/migration/ski...re_general.htm as far as I can recall.

Cheers,

George Lombard

A common trap for nurses to fall into is working for less than 20 hours a week - for general skilled migration, this does not count at all.

In order to get the points for work experience do you have to work more than 20 hours every week or can it be averaged over a month?
I have had a permanent contract 18 1/2 hrs for over 3 years but I also do
bank work and extra hours over and above this.
How far back would they take into consideration?
Thanks
