Ping George Lombard
Hi, George, Dont know if you remember me, I came over in 2000,
married an Ozzie Sheila called Michelle, that I met on the Internet,
and I had at best a bit of a dubious past.
Well to put you in the picture, didnt get a job in computers in the
end, I ended up working on construction sites for about 3 years,
decided that the hours sucked, and brought an ice cream shop which
Michelle and I run now, takes twice as many hours and pays about half
of what I was getting driving a digger, but were doing ok, and
enjoying it. I became an australian citizen on Australia Day, put my
hand on my heart, and got given, skippy cornflakes, vegemite, and a
clip on koala to go with my Citizenship Certificate.
The main aim of this, is just to say thanks for everything you did,
and anyone else reading this, I for one, recommend George to anyone
thinking of emigrating to Australia. In England they told me I would
never, and they meant NEVER get a residency visa to australia, but
George looked after me, and I havent looked back since. Im an Aussie
now, and become a JP at the end of this month, assuming I pass the
exam. My life has taken a complete new direction, my lifestyle is 500%
better than it ever was in England, and I will never look back.
Thanks George, and look me up next time you come to QLD, come see me
and we'll grab coffee. It will be good to catch up with you. Ill
send you an email with my new contact details on it.
Kindest Regards
Nick.
