PCC from Saudi Arabia
I have worked in saudi Arabia for over an year and I have left saudi arabia permanently on a Exit Visa. As per DIAC requirements I will be submitting PCC from saudi Arabia as well. but as per saudi arabia rules and as posted in the PCC booklet by DIAC it has been mentioned that for those individuals who have left saudi arabia permanently there is no procedure to get PCC from saudi arabia. In this regard I loged a PLE to DIAC, in repsonse DIAC mentioned that you may then need to submit a satutory declaration and further details in this reagrd will communicated to you after you have your CO.
Is there anyone who has similar expereince? If I have to submit a statutory declaration, do it need to be as per some specific format? if some one has any information in this regard please share

Re: PCC from Saudi Arabia
Once you leave Saudi, you cannot get a PCC at all.
My wife needed one and in the end she got a letter from the British Consulate in Jeddah saying that they had no record of her being arrested etc by the Saudi Authorities. We got that attested by the Foreign Office in London and after that, the Saudi Embassy stamped it.
That was sent to DIAC and they accepted that in lieu of a statutory declaration.
HOWEVER - that was as a British Citizen when, for once, the authorities were generally quite helpful. For other nationalities this may well be impossible to obtain and therefore you need to submit the declaration.
I don't know the official line but unofficially we were told that DIAC are aware that some countries will not issue a PCC after the fact.
