Question Pass / Pool Points

Hi guys as you may know we have just been accepted by Vetassess with a 50 point buisness profesional (NEC)

We are applying as Skilled–Designated Area-Sponsored

My cousin will sponsor and assure us (South Aus, Adelaide)
but working out our points i only make it 105

age 43 = 15p
occupation = 50p
Language = 20p
work exp = 5
relationship = 15

Is it true that you done need to pass a points test for this type of visa?

Or will i have to stump up $100,000 aus for extra points?
Can more than one person assure?

All info welcome

Thanks

No points test for designated area sponsored. You still need to meet the basic requirements.

Have you read the Skilled Migration Booklet. The answer is in there.

Can more than one person assure? You should be reading the Assurance of Support information on the Centrelink website and/or the Skilled Migration Booklet.

I have not read the booklet just going by the info on the immi.gov.au web site. Just worried about it all going pearshape I suppose.

I assume I'm correct in my "no points" quote then!!

The Skilled Migration booklet is essential reading. You need to download it and read it (more than once).

If you don't, you could well find you've missed something critical to your application.
