Paramedic Perth or Brisbane

Paramedic needs help!
Hi all,
hope somebody can help! My Hubby is a Paramedic, we are waiting patiently for our PR Visa. I'm a nurse and have no worries about getting work, but hubby worried, as we can't find any jobs in Perth for Paramedic, we have had advice about Sydney and not too sure about Queensland! Have I confused anyone yet! But we ideally want to move to Perth but would settle for Goldcoast/Sunshine Coast. Has anyone any info on Paramedic work in Queensland, and what training if any he would have to do to convert his UK qualification. NSW he has to do a 2 week course thats all. Victoria is an 18 month course!! We found this out when we where on holiday in Jan, but couldn't get info on Perth or Queensland as we didn't visit there this time! Now I'm rambling sorry it's my bed time but I'm hooked on this site!!
