Default Oz police check form question?

Hi all,

My partner is in the UK and he is filling out the Australian police check
form, but we dont know the answer to the first question! It asks what our
visa application processing office is. We dont know....is this where we put
in the visa application? He took the application to Australian House in
London, is this what we write for the processing office? We havent got an
acknowledgement letter yet, does this letter tell us?

Thanks,

Belinda and Paul

Hi Belinda and Paul,

The processing post for your application is most likely London, but as long
as you give your name and date of birth etc they will track you down :-)

Why are you doing a form 1101? Has Paul spent some time in Australia? It
would have been easier to do this form before he left. Don't forget to
include the stamped addressed envelope for return of the clearance.

Cheers

Yes, Paul spent 12 months in Australia....we didnt think to do it before, as
the booklet said to wait until we were asked for it. Now that people have
told us it takes a while, we have decided to do it now. So, we are just
going to write London as our answer? I dont want to make a mistake on it, as
it will mean a longer waiting period.

Thanks for your help
