Melbourne...). Depends on the job market.

PS. just a tip, use http://groups.google.com (select
group=misc.immigration.australia&nz). The search engine is great : enter some
keywords and you get access to the full archive of this newsgroup.

Congratulations!!!

Good to hear that the folks in Berlin have actually got some visas left!

We applied around the same time as you, but are non IT, so will take a while longer.

Hi all,

I wish you good luck Silv !

Some information about the price, how much I had to pay to get my visa ... I thought
about 1500 Euro (10.000 French francs) at the beginning of the process and I was
quite right.

IELTS (without travel)-> about 115 E - http://www.ielts.org ACS Assessmnet:350 A$ ->
about 200 E buy booklet Visa Application 47SK -> less than 10 E Visa-Application
(Berlin) 1330 DM -> 680 E translations (8 pages) : 327 E Medical (without travel) :
about 200 DM ? (I'm not sure 200/300 DM ?) -> 100E Sending letters (with receipt) ->
about 25 E

++++ about 900 Euro to get to OZ' to validate my visa (first entry)

Hi Petecito,

My strength is object-oriented-development (C++, Java) and web development (PHP) I
don't know yet what the market looks like but I'll get there in May to check the
possibilities. My preferences are for Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane (Brisbane would
be the best I guess)
