Does anyone know if, when you use the online contact the department link (which is viewed from the status page of your application), you can expect to receive confirmation that they have recieved the information?

Whilst I appreciate that DIAC must have a huge number of such contacts each day, I have used this to inform the department about a change in my personal circumstances (since my initial application) and I am slightly concerned as to whether or not they would have recieved it and linked it with my application.... however I do not wish to email them just in case I am duplicating.
