Definitely no apology coming from me. I have felt for a long time that her answers could perhaps be toned down a bit. So do others who have PM'd me this morning and said the said the same thing as well as the other posters who posted after me. Can we all be wrong? If she cant take a bit of criticism then perhaps a job as as a mod is not the job for her. I was in no way being attacking and have reread my post and can not see what you found offensive.

I am not going to get into a slanging match. I read something and reacted to it. End of. If she gets the hump and wants to go into one and spit her dummy out so be it. She is an asset here and it would be a shame to lose her.

Well that's a shame you feel that way. Yes she is an assest and it would be a great shame if she was no longer a moderator. It's nothing at all to do with spitting her dummy out and if you had been a more active member you would know that.

I would also be interested to read those pm's so please feel free to forward them onto me.

Thx

And what exactly will the point in that? Ban them as well? Have a read of the posts after mine in this thread. That should be enough for you to see that I am not the only one here. . My personal messages are exactly that...my PERSONAL messages.

No one said anything about banning anyone, so please don't assume things. I would be interested to know how many a "few" is.

Thanks.

Sorry but I will not answer that question. I have nothing to prove and will not drop anyone in it as I am curious as to why you want to know.

As said before I am not prepared to get into a slanging match. This will be the last post from me on the subject.

I have to admit to be totally flummoxed by this. Where in this thread has Pollyana been rude? She's been a member of this site for 8 years and a moderator for as long as I remember. She's helped hundreds, probably thousands of members during that time. I don't see any of her posts to you or anyone else in this thread as being rude. Did she state an opinion without sugar coating it? Yes, but not in anyway could that have been deemed rude. On the other hand your posts directed at her could be deemed rude and that's no way to treat someone who goes out of her way to give her time freely to assist members.

I think Bermudashort's post here was spot on the money, and personally I do feel like you own Pollyana an apology.

Thanks.

(Apologies to OP for taking this off-topic)

I am also not apologizing anyone, I said what I felt....

I have been an active member since last year...I must say Pollyana is a great mod and have a lot of information...Yes it will be shame for this forum, for me, for Mr. Luvpants to lose her as a member...

Again request you to Pollyana ...Please do consider your decision..We need you here....

Cheer up guys,
I say to follow the principle of Forgive and Forget. In this case just FORGET and only FORGET about the whole matter. It is nice to have positive debate and disagreements and thats the highlight of British Expats to be liberal, embracing and accepting all. It will be a loss if Pollyana makes a decision and please dont. On the other hand Luvpants got the message across, what he or others felt like --thats it--
I on behalf of a growing number of BE members would request to Forget and let time heal ..all thats wrong..or feels wrong
