Occupation for assessment with Engineers Australia
Hi all, would really appreciate your answers on this one:
My educational background is Chemical and Process Engineer, however for the last 3 years, I have been working in the oil and gas industry.
I am doing my CDR now, and was wondering if I should submit an assessment for a Chemical Engineer or a Petroleum Engineer? With which one do you think I will have a better chance in the assessment?

Hi Indriana,
Its up to you. Which Occupation would you like to apply for EA ? Is it for "Chemical Engineer" or "Petroleum Engineer" !
If you choose Chemical Engineer then you need to prepare a CDR based on your academic qualifications.
If you choose Petroleum Engineer then you need to prepare a CDR based on your work experience.
Any of the above options will work.
