Default obtaining visa stamps in passport

Help! We've managed to get ourselves totally confused as to how we get our passports stamped.

The Visa Evidence fact sheet that accompanied the letter from DIMIA mentions that we have to advise the DIMIA office that granted our visa (Adelaide) that we wish to collect our Visa Evidence in London. This accompanied the letter from Adelaide confirming that our Skilled Independant visas had been granted.

Is this one and the same thing? We intend to do this by post, so want to ensure we have done everything correctly. Do we need to do anything other than send this letter (by special delivery post of course!) to the Australian High Commission in London?

Oh...and I'm sorry if I sound totally stupid, but what's the difference between a grant and a pre-grant letter?

Hi Glenn,

If you have a letter from ASPC telling you that you have been granted the
visas, that's the letter you send with your passports. Email your case
officer to confirm this if you like.

Cheers
