NZ work permit medicals, any advice please.
Ive nearly got all my documents ready apart from taking the medicals.
As i understand it, if i dont put them in with my application I will
get a 2 year work permit, but if i do i will get a 3 year permit.W hat
i would like to know is that if i dont submit my medicals now and get
the 2 year permit, and after 2 years of being there and i would like
to stay longer, can i have my medicals done out there and then obtain
a further 3 year remit?

This is taken from the NZIS site -
"There is no limit on the number of further Work Permits or Work Visas you
may obtain. Further Work Permits or Work Visas may be obtained for the
period for which any further employment is offered, up to a maximum of 3
years each time. For each period of employment the applicant must meet all
Work Visa and Permit policy requirements."
So you can apply for further permits from within NZ, as long as you meet the
criteria at the time (which could change of course)
