Default NZ Cellphones...??

Moving to NZ on 1st Jan 2003. Intend to carry my Siemens C35i cellphone that is running on band frequency 900 but is dual band (900-1800) compatible. This is a GSM one.

Anybody got any idea about the NZ cellular network? Band frequency and network type (GSM/GPRS/CDMA)?
