Default Nvq 3

Hi does anyone know if VETASSESS recognise NVQ 3? I've been told by an immigration company that they don't? But I've emailed a woman who works at VETASSESS who says that they do? I'm trying to get in on a 139 as a residential care officer? I've got an NVQ 3 in caring for children and young people. All getting far too complex for me

Vetassess will normally recognise an NVQ3 as equivalenmt to an AQF Diploma - subject to the content and nature of the NVQ3 course (usually expected to be equivalent to 2 years f/t).

Hi AB,

Glenn's right, it's normally quite ok for 40 points. Doesn't normally matter what the subject is, it's more the educational "level" and length of the course that counts. Who told you it wasn't ok?

Cheers,

George Lombard

Maybe I'm confused but on another thread you suggest you're a soon-to-be primary teacher:

No I was asking what a almost qualified teacher would need, I'm not and never will be a teacher . I was asking on behalf of another person
