nursery nurse in NZ

hello all, I trained as a nursery nurse(BTEC Certificate in nursery nursing)and
qualified last year. I currently work in a pre school as deputy leader as well as a
nursery nurse in a special school in the afternoons. Will this qualification be
recognised in New Zealand and will any of my experience count in NZ? In England the
qualification is educationally better than the old NNEB and so would gain you
admittance to a university course in child care and education. will this be the same
in NZ? awaiting any replies, regards Rebecca
