There is a 2 year rule for all SS. It is mentioned in the DIAC web site. But it is a moral obligation than legal enforcement.
It takes around 2 months or less to get the SS results.
I have one question for you, I have a PR and i am not in Australia, can i apply from India online and hope to get a job in Sydney. As i want to get a job from India and then come there. I have around 6 years of experience in C#.net.

NSW -State Sponsorship Validity
State Sponsorship of NSW- Northern Inland Regional Developments has any validity? On the letter State Sponsorship, nothing is written about this. Any one for this region?

NSW has returned me a form (written form 1 at the top), with signature of authorising officer, and official stamp etc, confirming my sponsorship. Now I called them up to see if they are going to send form 1100 to DIAC, and they said that is the form they have sent to me and I need to forward it to DIAC.
A bit confused. How does form 1100 look like? The one I have from them doesnt have form 1100 written anywhere
Any clue guys?

Same they asked me to do. Though i keep them informed about my DIAC lodgemet. In my case they return From R along with their letter which i have filled up at the time of application. seal & sign are there too.

So did you then send 1100 form to DIAC yourself? How did you manage to get it signed by NSW DSRD?

Just spoke to NSW state department. They are going to send across 1100 to DIAC. That solves my problem then.
