Dear Friends,

I am writing to enquire that i would like to migrate Northern Territory. In addition, I would like to apply state sponsorship to NT. However, I have positive skill assessment ( ( 342313=Electronic Equipments trades worker ) and I got IELTS average band score 6 ( 6, 6, 5, 6 ). Could you please advice me that am I eligible to apply 176 state Sponsorship visa to NT?. Kindly I request you to send me the process to apply state sponsorship though online or any other ways to put application.

Same situation is here, got Average 6.5 (6.5, 7, 6, 5.5). I think there is some way by using concessional English. waiting for email reply from NT.

Even if you both can get state sponsorship you cannot apply for a 176 visa with those IELTS scores. You must score 6 or more in each band, not overall 6

Yes I know that I am not eligible for 176 but I am working on 475 Visa and I think there is some way for concessional English.

Thanks for the reply, I have enquired with state migration centre NT they replied saying, As a trade worker your IELTS score will need to be 6 overall to apply for state sponsorship. Please suggest me how to proceed further do i need 6 in all the band or 6 overall required for 176 visa

For PR visa (175 or 176) you need 6 in each band. www.immi.gov.au spells out the visa criteria. What NT wants for state sponsorship may be something different, however you must have 6 in each band for your visa applications.

Yes ,IELTS Avg 06 is enough to apply for Visa 475 , if your considering 176 Visa , its require IELTS 6 in each band .

But this is differ in applying for State Sponsorship ,and requirements are differ from State to State .

I have concern about NT accommodation and job opportunities , Is it possible to survive comfortably? However, 475 and 176 both are similar in this state, could you tell me can I proceed any of this visa?
