Hi Guys , im a newbie to this site , 5 months ago i applied for a De facto Visa , Ive been dating my Australian girlfriend since 1 March 2012 and living together since 9th July 2012 - Does anyone know if its possible to find out the current status of your application as my gf has to return to Australia on 1st April 2014 and obviously we would like to go together. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know of any way myself, but going off current timelines you are probably on track to hear something in the next month or two?

If you lodged offshore, than I thought it was running at about 6 up to 8 months.

If you applied in the UK they are being processed in around 7-8 months at present, judging by recent reports of grants. Email your CO, thats the only way to get official info.

I don't see the value in looking at it like this. Each application will either succeed (if the criteria are met) or fail (if they are not). Nothing has a 60% (or whatever) chance of success it is zero or 100%.

Probably looking at another three months if you applied five months ago. Your Case Officer will be in touch nearer the time.

If you lodged your application in the UK then the decision is made in London.
