new visa update?
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Given today’s announcement by Australian Federal Government in relation to changes to the skilled visa programs, VETASSESS will not be receiving new applications for the next 24 hours (effective 18 April, 5pm AEST).
This applies to applications for skills recognition for general professional occupations and trade nominated occupations. We will provide a further update tomorrow, once details of the new reform are released.
going through my application now just finished uploading documents and i get this important update anyone know what these are about??
im applying for a 189 skilled visa is this affected?

I might be wrong but sure I read somewhere new updates 19th April and the skilled occupations have changed with occupations removed for 189 skilled visa.

Vetassess will want to realign their procedures in line with the new skills lists.
You can check the lists linked to above to see whether your occupation is affected.

IM applying for 189 as a plumber on the removed occupations it says plumber inspector so i assume plumber general is still ok? cant find the new sol which is a pain
