Smile New born child after Grant , Parents not yet migrated

Dear Gurus,

I have received VE175 grant on 01 July 2010 and made initial entry in Nov 2010 with family ( my wife and first kid).
I yet to move permanently and We have been braced by a female baby by the grace of God last month.

I was planning initially I will migrate to Australia around june 2011 , after few month my family will join me, meanwhile I will try to secure a job , parallaly I will apply visa for my new born , if she got visa fine ,she will enter as PR otherwise I will apply visit visa for my second kid until her PR grant.

While reading checklist I found I need to submit documents for my 2 year employment eviendence.

Please advise if I apply her PR without 2 year employment documents , what are the chances to get her PR visa.

Regards
AAhmed

Not very good probably. You have to show documents that prove you have the financial ability to support your child for 2 years from when they migrate and that they wont rely on state handouts. Which you couldnt get anyway as a migrant.

If you dont supply the documents they might be requested from you or you could just be rejected. If you cant supply them you wont be able to meet the criteria for being a sponser so you could be rejected.

What if I show that I have sufficient fund to support my family for 1 or more year. say between 30-40K AUD. , will it be considered.
It seems you have same situation like me and you decided to delay your migration , what are you planning , visit visa is a right option ?
Please share your thoughts.

I have no idea, if you are struggling with this you really need to hire a registered migration agent.

My first thoughts are how many people is that sum of money meant to support and for how long? That is what DIAC would also think which is why they want to see you have the means to support them via your income.

Which is why they ask for the following. Does your money come from any of these places they ask you to prove?

Photocopies of one of the following documents to show the sponsor’s employment during the last two years:

Australian income and/or overseas tax assessment notice
a letter from the sponsor’s employer confirming length of employment and annual salary

payslips

if the sponsor is self-employed or self-funded from other sources, business documents or a letter from your sponsor’s accountant
