Default need your help -CDR report

Hi, all. This is the first time to post a message.

I am an Environmental Engineer applying for immigration to Australia. I am confused regarding CDR(Competency Demonstration Report). I've gotten some materials from IEAust.
However, it is still necessary to get a good-writing example.

So anybody kindly send me samples of Environmental Engineer or other engineer work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michy,

Try this as an example:

http://www.chegorian.com/community/etc/CDR.html

I think this could be helpful.

Cheers

Not sure why you need CDR....???

Do you have an honours degree?

I made the mistake of waiting til i got Chartered:
Spent 6 months getting Chartered,
Sending ALL the documentation of MSc, results , Asssociate membership of IOM etc.

sent all this to IEAUST only to get 60 points based solely on my degree certificate...not complaining but due to lack of knowledge i really overkilled on it...cost me 6 months

IEaust assessment is not based only on your degree, you need to demonstrate your engineering skills by writing a CDR..

if you need help writing CDR, mail me..

Raj

It depends on where you're from. IEAust has agreements with similar engineering associations in some countries (UK, Canada, US, Singapore, Hongkong, I think), the so-called Washington Accord. People with degrees from these countries don't need a CDR. Look at the IEAust website for more info.

And to add to this, there are some people with the UK Chartered Engineer (CEng) designation who *do* need to write a CDR as they haven't got an accredited undergraduate degree in engineering.

Sydney Accord is also worth looking at as well as the Washington Accord. As far as I know a few more countries may be coming on stream in the near future.
