Is my friend eligible for Permanent Residency
hi there
I just want to get some information for my friend.
he has done bachelor of commerce,then he has done some certification courses
RHCE and MCSE.and he is working as Linux engineer from 3.5 years and now now has finished Master's in computer application.he has his brother living here so he can sponsor him as well,
I just want to know that coz he has done his graduation in commerce and then worked in IT,is his experience will count.can he apply for PR or not.

depends on the education and the course outline. if his education is enough to acquire a positive skills assessment then he can do it on the basis of his education. and if not then he can try using the work experience route for getting a +ve assessment.

For ACS, the minimum Work experience required is 4 years, if holding a Degeree in Comp.Sci. Hence your friend need to wait for 6 more months
