Default Moving up a priority group

Hi folks,
Just wondering, I currently have a pending 175 application and I fall into category 4 as things stand. I noticed today that my job is about to be included in the new SOL list. I`ve had a quick glance round the immi.gov site and I was wondering if I automatically get bumped into category 3 or if I have to ask to be moved up or if I would have to re-apply to be in category 3.

If anybody knows where I might stand it would be a big help.

Thanks in advance

Steven

Only the experience for which ACS qualified you is applicable for DIAC evaluation (and subsequently placement in appropriate group).

The question was about priority processing group, not occupation classification.

Who said anything about "classification"? The OP asked about priority groups.

I guess I didn't took my caffeine when I read the original question. My interpretation of the question was that the poster has a new job title (for instance changed from programmer to network specialist) which may appear in Cat 3 instead of his original job (title) which was in cat 4. My understanding is once you apply/choose the skill/job for immigration purposes, it can't be change to a new job evaluation. Anyways, I may be overreading the question, as I said, I was probably deprived of my morning tea.

Cheers.

/U

To clear things up I don`t have a new job title it`s just that my current job is about to be added to the new SOL

You will automatically get priority I believe.

I think that was always clear. . I suspect that you would move priority group, they don't mind moving people the other way (down a group) in the past so don't see why this should be different. However not read all about it yet as just got the phone for internet, so don't want to state that as a fact.

You will automatically be moved to priority 3 but in my opinion if you have a CO send an inquiry and ask him ( just to remind him of the change in your application priority) and if you don't have a CO send a PLE to DIAC or give them a call.
Regards
