Moved: just a thought
hi
my situation is as follows, we all got our visas january 07.my wife and 2 children didnt get theirs validated. i validated mine and i now want to get my wife's renewed. so the question is, " how do i apply for a spouse visa"? will meds and pc be needed again? it will also include 2 kids, 16 and 11. i used an agent before. will 16 year old need a pc this time?
i have already posted the question above but am wondering what would happen if we all just got on the plane and landed in oz? would they send my wife and 2 children home again? (even though they have a visa but just didnt validate it on time)
cheers

If your wife and kids didn't validate their visas then they would have been cancelled. So they do not actually have a visa anymore. You cannot renew a visa that has expired. So you will likley have to try for the spouse visa to get your family another visa.
I would imagine this would look badly if you were to all just show up at the airport. You would have a PR and the rest of your family would not have a visa. I could see big problems with that, because it appears as though you are moving to Oz but most of you don't have the visas to do it.
I believe JAJ answered your question on the topic in the immigration forum. You may not have liked his advice but he is generally very knowledgable and he is probably right.
