MODL: STNI Vic. Vs. DIMIA
I have sent papers to ACS asking MODL nomination for client/server applications as C++ is no more in the MODL list of DIMIA. I'm also applying for STNI in Victoria (My ASCO Code is 2231-17). But they don't have Client/Server applications in their MODL list. Will they consider my application? Did anybody face same problem?
Thanks.

If you review the MODL list carefully you will see that Client/Server
Applications is actually a category, but MODL points will only be
granted for the specific named skills under that category which at
this time are only Peoplesoft and SAP. These are both also on the
Victoria skills in demand list.

Re: MODL: STNI Vic. Vs. DIMIA
Sorry! I can't agree.
I checked the Booklet 6 (1119.pdf) and unable to find SAP in MODL. Moreover, I'm unable to understand how peoplesoft or SAP can be a skill under Client/server applications or Java.
I checked the Skills in Demand list of victoria again. I didn't find anything like specific named skills or category. They told "Specialisations only" in C++, Sybase SQL Server, Peoplesoft etc., etc.
Anyway, Thanks for your response.

This webpage's MODL supersedes the one on the 1119 booklet.

I got it! Thanks for clearing.
What's about skills in demand in Victoria? I'm an expert in C++ but did not ask ACS for MODL nomination in C++. Will STNI Victoria ask me to be assessed again from ACS, or the refferance letter from my employer will do the job?
