Question MODL (ASCO 2231-79) confused with ACS – Assessment

Hi,

IMMI has added C++/C#/C into MODL under ASCO 2231-79,

I’m an IT professional “Analyst Programmer/Software Engineer” with 8+ yrs working experience and 2+ yrs of extensive C# experience. I’ m planning to apply for AUS Migration under MODL and confused with ACS – Assessment.

According to ACS guidelines, my Occupation bests suites with category ASCO 2231-17.

Since I have C# experience, would I be able to assess my skills under ASCO 2231-79?

Dear Niroshana,

DIMA and ACS are using 2231-79 as one means of identifying IT skills assessment applicants with MODL skills - this applies whether you're in fact 2231-11, 2231-13, 2231-15, 2231-17 or 2231-19.

Cheers,
