I thought i should share these moments , Guys, I have received today approved letter from ACS with MODL Valuable lines, feeling so great!, Thanx for your help. Now its time to lookafter Immigration forms.

Hi Amir,

Many congratulations on your approval!

Could you spare some time to answer me a few questions? I am at step 1
of my visa application process. I am 27 but have been in IT for 9
years.

What information did you use to provide to the ACS? - for example, are
you a degree candidate or RPL?
Do you have any information you could send me, such as correspondence
with the ACS that you think may be useful?
I believe I will have to take the RPL route, as I do not possess an IT
degree, so I am hoping to get some idea of the level of response needed
- above and beyond the information available from the ACS website
concerning the CBOK etc.

Many Thanks in advance, and reponses welcome from anyone who feels they
could help,

I was not quite sure about route so , i paid $400 RPL fees and left on ACS. but i certainly ask 2231-79 plus MODL code. Actually i have MCS + BSC Computer Sc. and 1 year diploma plus about 7 years of experience but all are from Pakistan, so was not sure abt eudcation.

Although, i sent CBOK with two projects details not more than 2000 words both, may be less.

then in result they put me on Group A and also wrote oracle 12 months exp in letter.

Many congrats from myside, I think we were in touch before when I got my MODL assessment as Oracle Specilist back in DEC 06.

Hi Amir
would you like to let me know that from which universty/college you completed yoru BCS and MCS in pakistan? is ACS required Recognizes degree from Higher Education Commission not an un recognized Degree is also acceptable?

Can you please explain your experience in detail like how many year in what
field ? You are now get 60+15 point ...right ? '15' for MODL
Did you passed any OCP/MCSE/.etc exam ?

7 years in Computing field.
yes 60+15 points
i didn't pass any certification
Acs does req OCP/MCSE etc But min 12 months exp in specialization ,
You can check on its website

I think they req recognize Uni or college, but i m not sure.
ACS reserve rights to check any thing.
I complete Bsc Kar Uni and MCS IQRA University, Diploma- Petroman

Hi, I mean to say that My Degree is not from HEC (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan) approved Institute. I think you might have confused it with the recognition from ACS.
