Ministerial exemption - Citizenship
Wondering if there is anyone that worked FIFO to another country and requested Ministerial exemption when applying for Citizenship.
I arrived in Oz in Sep'09 and until end if Feb I was overseas only once for 6 days last August. As of End of Feb'13 I am working overseas on a FIFO roster for a mining contractor I worked for since Aug'12. Because of this by the time I will be applying will be out of Oz for more than 90 days in last 12 months.
Am I reading the info correctly that because my partner is still based in Oz and I travel every break home and can prove my ties to Oz that I can still apply for Citizenship?
I'd appreciate if anyone who was in the same boat could share their experience.
Cheers
