Migration specialist/agency
Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble choosing a migration specialist as there's bloody loads out there!!
Is there a general opinion on any migration specialist that you guys have used?... or any that is highly recommended?
I'm looking for one now and it's doing my nut in
Any wee tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there
We used www.firstconact.co.uk
They were very good and came recommended to us by a friend who had also used them.
Good luck.

Sorry to jump in, but does anyone know the average cost of using an agent? Looking at the process is confusing me already!

We are using an agent called A&M Australian Migration based in Suffolk. We applied last July (07), under a Skilled Migration Visa with my hubby being the main applicant.
Up to yet, she has a 100% success in PR Skilled Resident visas.
They ARE a registered migration agent aswell.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Donna.

I think I have read somewhere that the average is about £1800.00. We will see nearer the time how much money we have and if I can buy a good up to date book about the immagrition process and see if I can do it myself.
Still a couple of years away for us - so will look into it then

I can recommend a good book, Living & Working in Australia, I bought mine off Amazon last year when we first decided on the move. You can get 2nd hand orr brand new ones for about the same price. It explains everything from tax to salaries, from homes to social lives. Obviously things will change along the way, and you will never really know until you get there, but is a great starting point.
Good luck for the future.
Donna.
