Is there a reason why you can't do it on your own and save the money for the move?

Look into this yourself and see if you can do it. If it's complicated and you feel you need the services of an agent - make sure they are MARA registered.

I'm quite openly biased in favour of registered agents ;-)

In all fairness, so should anyone and everyone who's in the market for a migration agent. Some pennies are not worth saving, if one ends up losing the house and more, on the back of poor advice given by dodgy and unregistered agents!

If the OP needs an agent, always go for a MARA registered one!

Exactly. If the application is fairly straightforward and you don't mind doing a bit of reading then it's not difficult. However if there are complicated circumstances or just not confident then a MARA registered agent is the go.

Just to add that the agency doesn't have to be nearby. Everything is pretty much done by email or internet anyway.
