Default Meds and Pccs in nottingham.

Hi all
Can anyone help me out here. We need to book our meds and have a list of were to book them. There are only two in Nottingham on the list both Nufield, the park and sherwood are these the only places to choose from? (had read a thread on this but can I find it NO.

As for the Pccs hubby went into West bridgford police station to pick up some forms only to be told they don't have them there to "ring this number and they will send you some" is this the norm? does anyone know of any I can just pop into to get them?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi Lisa

We went for our medicals in Nottingham last week (at Tudor House Medical Practice in Sherwood and x-rays at a hospital 10 minutes down the road in Arnold) and they were very good and everything was done quickly. Were also the cheapest out of three doctors we checked too!

We downloaded the police subject access forms from the police website and then handed them in at our local police headquarters - they were only a couple of pages - now we have to sit and wait for the reply ;-)

Hi,

You can download the forms for the police check from the following link

http://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk...ta_protection/

Just go to 'Library' to download the forms or there is a snail mail address.

I got acknowledgement for mine 12th March....still waiting. Should be recieved within 40 days, fingers crossed.

As for Nottingham medicals try: http://www.visamedicals.co.uk/contact.htm

I am thinking of using them.

All the best, emma.

Hi

I used certifited copies of my birth certificate and driving licence, enclosed them with the forms and sent them to:

Subject Access Request Bureau (AJ)
Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters
Sherwood Lodge
Arnold
Nottingham
NG5 8PP

Also enclose a cheque for £10 payable to Nottinghamshire Police. I believe that all applications have to be posted and cannot be taken by hand to the local station.

Hope this helps, emma x

Thanks again for everyones help.
I have booked meds for 9th may. I didn't do it sooner as I have to see a hand specialist to see if I have carpal tunel or arthritis in my right hand and I didn't want meds before and have to mess about.
