Howdee Legoman,

Well done on the meds request, 1 more tick in the box!

I used the Bridge Clinic in Maidenhead, very good. You need to book your appointment which does mean abot a 3-4 week wait. They do the x-rays and medicals in 1 session. We were there for a about 2 hours in total.

The staff were very friendly and explained the whole process. The doctor who did our medicals was relaxed but yet professional. They do the Oz meds all the time so they know the procedure, forms and system inside out. Here is their website http://www.bridge-clinic.com/

You also have the option to either get the medicals sent to you or directly to Sydney via courier. If you want the medicals, DO NOT open them! If you do the DIMIA may reject them and you will need to re-take them. Also you can't send them to any 3rd part, i.e. your agent. Best advice is to get them to send them to Syndey for you.

It takes about 2 weeks from the time you do your meds until they get to Sydney as the clinic doctor checks them and the it takes about 1 week to get to Oz.

The meds are actaully very straight forward and nothing to worry about.

Cheers,

Tops.

Nah, my non-migrating daughters meds only went off Wednesday last week, but that would have meant they had to get our file out Wed/Thu this week. Maybe tomorrow after all...............
Somehow I doubt it though.
Seriously I'll be logged in at 06:30 (bloody light mornings, I can never sleep when the suns out) looking for your "got it" best of luck for tomorrow....
