Sorry, more medical questions.

We have our medicals booked for next wednesday at the lindley group huddersfield, getting really nervous...nothing to be nervous about really, just thinking the worst

Has anyone had their meds at huddersfield??? how were they??

how long did it take it take for xrays and blood tests results to come back?

how long did it take till meds were received in oz??

do they request gp notes, if so how long does this take?

sorry for the millions of questions....

oh, if anyone knows how long lcu are taking to clear meds at the moment that would be worth knowing too...

We have not had meds done yet but have just telephoned Huddersfield. They seem reasonably priced.

Hi we had ours there and felt exactly the same as you do now.....a bag of nerves!!!.....but seriously there is nothing to worry about whatsoever!!

They are very child friendly and put you at ease, the lads go in with the male doctor and the girls with the female doctor.........firstly they test your wee, then height, weight, BP, ask questions about your diet and lifestyle, then test your joints, reflexes, eyes, ears, reading, make notes of any scars, then touch your toes, stretch your arms, check pulses, knees, ankles, listen to heart and lungs and then take your bloods....all very basic stuff and if your general health is good then you will all be fine. takes about half and hour/40 mins, Xrays are done at the hospital over the road, and we were in and out of there in 10mins!!!

Dont worry!!!, we did and despite advice saying not to we really got worked up over nothing................Your bloods and Xrays come back about a week later, and they send it all to Australia together.

It was easy peasy and its hard to relax about them before you go, like I said we were exactly the same as you, but there really is nothing to worry about!!.............Good luck

thorpes, huddersfield were best price for us, manchester £700 ish, leeds £800 ish huddersfield £500 ish 2 adults, 2 children (im a nurse so price includes extra blood tests required.)
