Medicals - when?

Medicals - when?
Hi,
I sent me 175 application online in March 09. What happens next? They have acknowleged the application so when do I need to do medicals? Do I just wait for a CO? Excuse my ignorance on this but as I am doing an independent application - without an agent - I do need a little advice from time to time.
