Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how long they had to wait from when they booked the meds to the first available medical booking slot?

ps..does the doc send the meds of for you by courier...or do you have to specify this and pay/request a dispatch confirmation.

we waited for three weeks before we got a slot!

the docs have to send them!

We waited just over two weeks for an appointment. Some docs use royal mail others use a courier. Ask them when you book appointments and if they say they use royal mail then request that they send them Courier, if they refuse go somewhere else. You will have to pay extra, but at least you can track them if they go missing.

we were very lucky (Bath) got the case officer on last Mon, booked Xrays for Tue, booked meds for the Thur and they should be going off this Thurs to sydney....fingers crossed!

Phoned up Friday, X-rays Wednesday, Meds Friday. Sent Royal Mail (Registered, signed for) with no problems. This was in Bristol, £340 all in for a family of four.

From what I've read...no need to hurry to book my meds

Phoned 9am got booked in next day bloody expensive thou 3 adults 1 child £633.00 + xrays £220.00 total £853.00 glad we can get them done so quickly but begrudge paying that much.
