medicals after birth
I applied in June 2003 for PR Skilled Independent.
Now my wife's pregnant, so the medicals will have to
be postponed.
Do You know how much time will we have to do medicals
after birth? I realize that the baby will have X-ray too?

Right Peter, sorry I should find it be myself.
But the other question remains: How much time after the child is born
do my wife have to do the medicals? Are there any regulations?

the only reason not to have xrays while pregnant is due to potential damage to the unburn baby.
If the baby is born you wife can have xrays, although she might want a rest for a few months first ;_)

I think she will need some rest after ceasar's cut.
I just want to know if DIMIA gives some time limits or it's me
who should hurry to get PR quicker.

If a baby is born before the request for medicals, can the baby be added to the main application?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks, Peter.
What is the procedure then for adding the baby to the main applicant as a dependent of the parents?
Thanks.

It's not a matter of choice if the baby is born before visa grant. The baby must be added to the main application as he/she is a dependent of the parents.
