Can anyone shed some light on why our over 18 son who is not migrating with us requires a full medical?
Has anyone had to do this?

They are the rules I am afraid. All children whether they are going or staying behind MUST has a medical and because he is over 16 he has to have a full medical. I can only assume the reason is family medical history. Good luck
